HELIX-West: Hydrogen Education and Learning Innovation eXchange for region West-Nederland

Amcel is an electrochemistry community where education, industry and research meet to lay the foundation for the green and electrical energy-based chemistry of the future. Founded in 2019, Amcel’s mission is to use renewable energy and starting materials to develop new synthesis routes, new materials and products, and new energy storage solutions aiming for the highest efficiency. Under the umbrella of Amcel, various educational institutes (from mbo, hbo, wo) are continuously thinking about how the education of the future can fit the needs of society. We believe that it is important to dissipate and exchange knowledge from the field and from research, as important lessons can be learned from both sides. To facilitate this knowledge exchange, we are looking into the possibilities of building an Amcel academy. Here, theory and practice from the educational institutes (mbo, hbo and wo) is made available for professionals that would like to be (re)trained in the field of electrochemistry.
